Dear Colleagues,  

As a student of Business Management at the University Carlos III, I believe in the power of people. I believe in power of speaking out for our values, our opinions and our concerns. Speaking out and making our voice heard without fear, without shame. And it is because of this that I am running for course representative.

After having studied in this university for two years now, I am aware, as many of you are, that our university although good, is not perfect. I am sure that we have all dealt with situations in which we have felt that teachers were not taking into account that we have plenty more things to do than just do work for their subject. I am sure that we have all experience the lack of coordination between departments which results in us having weeks with five exams, if not more. Most probably, lots of us have felt that impotence when, after studying for months, a department suddenly decides to make a final exam ten times more difficult without justification, and even more, without recognising it.

This is why, this year I want to try to make things different. I want you to feel that whenever you have a problem or ideas of how things could be improved, you can count on someone. I want you to feel that there is someone there who will listen to you and help you doing everything that is in their hands. Someone who you can trust. 

And I only hope that that someone could be me.
